Old musical Europe

Today me and my friend
went on a concert
Old musical Europe
with Baroque violin and harpsichord.
Pieces by Veracini, Haendel, Leclair and others were played.

To feel the atmosphere...

It took place in the Gothic Revival church.
Listening to harpsichord in a church.....
I know you are jealous^___^

The photo from a rehearsal

My today's outfit
included chiffon dress
and lots of lace, pearls and ribbon.
I felt so girlish in this combination.

And my friend
in her chiffon skirt
and awesome shoes.

And one extra pic from a cafe
where we ate ice cream^^
Love this clock.

Small doggy

My neighbor bought a small
yorkshire terrier <333
*spent my time playing with him*

Oscar (his name) is so vivid...
so difficult to take a pic..

Such a baby <333

Kitty cupcake, more cake and We Don't Care About Music Anyway.

Cupcake corner made special Kitty cupcake ^^
I was running so fast to buy it before work.
Yummy and cute <333

Eyes full of desire XD

And a full photo
to show rather my extensions than my casual outfit.
So colorful^^

I also met with friends and ... more cake an ice creams!!!

So many sweets today^^

We went to a cinema
to see a movie
We Don't Care About Music Anyway.
It was going to be about an independent Japanese music scene.
Well... it was just a noise for me.
Terribly noise...
and I finished with a terribly headache...
It was the first time that I was not able to see a movie
to the end
and I left the cinema....
I understand ideas of this people...
they were talking quite sensibly...
but I do NOT see any expressions of their ideas
in their... whatever it is
(a music is not a proper word...).
You like doing it - do,
but far from me.
What for do I need something so ugly, disgusting and chaotic?
I will never understand such things...
all kinds of postmodern art is a mystery for me.
And I do not need a solution for it!
You want to show a modern world in your ...music?
Do it, but aesthetize it...
Show memories, pain, longing,
but not in such form.
What for showing the world
we want to escape from?
Oh my head.....

At least the cinema was nice^^

Check the trailer of this movie
and I am going to listen to harpsichord
before going to sleep.
Just to calm all this noise in my head.

A ballet and dances in XVIII century

The Court dance festival in Cracow!

And today I attended a performance
A ballet and dances in XVIII century.

My outfit was more classic^^

And here with "my wife^^

And with Imaginary
just before the performance.
Love this pic <333

Now something more about the show.
I was really excited,
because I planned to see
The Cracovia Danza Court Ballet
for quite a while
and finally it was going to happen.
And what's more: on a special event
and together with foreign guests.
My favourite part were court ballets
to Mozart's music.
Two dancers specially caught my eye:
Alicja Petrus- she had this kind of evanescence
I admire in every dancer
and Sławomir Greś.
Oh, he really charmed me!
Not only his smoothness was flawless,
but also the way he acted  his role.
He was the type all court is in love with-
like Vicomte from Dangorous Liaisons.
This is the one who will steal your heart- I thought.
Suddenly I caught myself writing stories in my head about him XD

Then Idomeneo-Chaconne was presented.
This is an interpretation of Mozart's Idomeneo
with an only one dancer.
Instead of showing a conflict between gods and a man
it refers to a conflict between Mozart and his father
and in this case even stronger between Gaetan and Auguste Vestris-
which represent a young and old styles in ballet.
Costumes worn by a dancer Rainer Krenstetter
symbolize this two different trends in XVIII ballet.

This part specially touched me, because:
-Rainer Krenstetter was pretty awesome
-I have a special sentiment for Auguste Vestris.
Well... he was the one who made a first step to turn ballet
into a romantic era, he was the teacher of Petipa and Taglioni......
and the second reason...

*my fangirl time*
he was born in 1760!!!
Like Lestat!!!
He was famous around 1780 in Paris Ballet
so around the time when Lestat moved to Paris
and was attending ballet performances!!!
Lestat had to see him dancing!!!
*fangirl mode end*

Anyway I really love how this performance
moved me into a different century.
Call it a camp, I do not care.
This is a way to enter another world even if just for a while.
Of course that my view on XVIII is strongly
idealized and romanticized...
I love the image which in fact never existed in such a form,
but I do not look for a truth (at least not always).
I look for a fantasy.

Louis Icart- 'Parisian dreamer'

Today I will post some art pieces created
by so called 'Parisian dreamer'- Louis Icart.
Even if they are in Art Deco style
the feel and the atmosphere of rococo is very strong in them.
All his graphics and paintings show
women, sometimes assisted by animals, flowers or...men.
But like in rococo this is a woman who is here a queen.
She can be deep in her thoughts or in a play.
She is simply immersed in her fabulous world.
Some depictions can seem erotic,
but all this women, even when charming men,
are still independent, fashionable and dreamy.
Exactly like on my beloved Watteau or Fragonard's canvases.

An "old photo" and some new stuff

Yesterday I went to drink a tea with Lolita
from different city who was visiting Cracow^^
Such a nice tea house,
but a light was bad and the quality of a photo sucks
so I turned it into an old one XD

I like how the photo looks like
"I will show you the photo of my grandma when she was young" XD

Here is a better pic to show my outfit.

Now time for new things^^

The first- the cutest birthday present from my friend^^
Bunny moist mist ^^
I can not wait to use it ^^

And some other stuff.
Cameo bracelet
(after reading Blackwood Farm
I am always in a mood for cameo)

Ring

Chanel Platinum Egoiste deodorant
(well it landed in my hands by chance XD)

And Korean towel.

Anybody knows Korean
and can translate it for me?

Maurice

Lately I watch so many movies
that it is difficult to write about all of them,
but I think that this one is worth attention
as I know some of my friends are BL movies' fans.
Maurice (1987) by James Ivory is a story situated in England
at the beginning of XX century.
It is not only about a homosexual love
(which was a crime at this time),
but also about social classes
which determine people's life.
Maurice - delicate, a little idealized movie
with a beautiful ending
shows a lot of different images
which built together
the one coherent painting
about human limits and our fight with them.

PS I read that it is really loved by Japanese
yaoi fangirls XD
