Nosferatu - multimedia show

Yesterday (at night) I went to see Nosferatu (1922).
It was not a normal show in a cinema,
but with a spatial music and narrator.
Read here (in Polish)

My outfit from today
First time wearing KuroLoli

Roses

The theater in which it took place
was situated in the basement of a cafe.
This is how the surrounding looked like *.*

I could not resist a temptation
to take some pics.

My fav.
I look like a vampire XD

And inside.
(bad light...)

The movie was presented in a small bricked room
with a barrel vault and very soft couches.
All the place, the late hour
made a perfect start.
Then it was only better.
Music!!!
There was many instruments and sintetizadors,
but when cello joined I was just taken somewhere
inside black-white images of the movie.
I caught myself floating inside the story instead of following the movie's plot.
Of course there was a few times
when I thought about (my dearest) Lestat.
He would enjoy the music for sure,
but occasionally burst into laugh as well XD
(Yes... in the middle of the 'eye and ear fest'
I thought about it during watching XD).

A sample here^^
Well I want some more.

I really like this restaurant
with a tatami room
and all decorations.

My outfit from today.
Quite classical and casual.

Fleur and Sleeping beauty ballet

Today is my birthday^^
And here is my birthday present from myself XD
Her name is Fleur.

In fact the story is a little more complicated.
Every time I go to work I pass by an antique shop
and once on a display I saw a gorgeous doll.
I loved her since the first sight XD
And I named her Fleur.
Somehow inspired by this song
- the story about Pierrot who fell in love with the doll named Fleur.
It also suited to the fact that I dream
about having a big porcelain dolls collection
and all of them would be named after flowers.
(Fleur means a flower in French).

Yesterday I went to buy the doll,
but the shop was closed..
so I did it today
-seems it was supposed to happen on the day of my birthday.
From now on I want to have a big porcelain dolls collection^^
I promised that Seimu will be my only dollfie,
but Fleur is a sign that is a high time to start collecting porcelain dolls.

I bought her before work
so then we could play with photos in the shop where I work.
(photos taken by mobile...)

And taken at home

She seems quite old
and her clothes are a little dirty,
but it makes her even more precious.

To make birthday more amazing
I watched Sleeping beauty ballet.
It was performed by Paris Opera
and choreographed by Noureev
(after Petipa of course).

This is exactly the kind of ballet I adore to my heart's content.
The fairy tale motif, a classical technique, the high level of dancing,
sophisticated costumes and stage design.
There is no better fairy tale adaption than using ballet.
Ballet and fairy tales are just a perfect couple.

Felling into sleep
(can it be showed better?)

Magical

Blue bird dancing with Florine

And gorgeous, perfect
(made me crying)
wedding pas de deux

Both Manuel Legris and Aurelie Dupont are fantastic,
but frankly speaking I can not put in words what
I feel when I watch Aurelie dancing.
She is not a normal dancer, she is an ideal prima ballerina
with all this mysticism the word is packed with.
She is just a present for the world.

Watch at least pas de deux
to feel what real (imo)
beauty is *.*

Le Spectre de la Rose

Do you know Theophile Gautier's poem The Ghost of the Rose?
It tells a story about a girl who comes home from her first ball
and falls asleep on an armchair.
The ghost of the rose which she wore on the ball
visits her in the dream, dances with her and then disappears.

Open those eyelids now closed,
Soft-touched by a maiden’s pure dream;
I am the ghost of the rose
That you wore to the ball yester-even.
You pluckt me while yet I was pearly
With the watering can’s silvery tears,
And about the glittering soirée
You paraded me under the stars.

O to thou who brought about my death
(For to chase death away you’ve no chance),
Every night my rose-colored wraith
Will appear at thy bedside and dance.
But fear not, for I am now owed
Neither Mass nor De profundis.
This fragile perfume is my soul,
And I’ve arrived here from paradise.

My destiny was to be envied,
And to suffer so lovely a fate
More than one would gladly have died,
For thy bosom became my grave;
And on the alabaster where I repose
The poet there with his soft kiss
Has inscribed: "Here lies the rose
Who made even emperors jealous."

This beautiful story was made into a ballet choreographed by Fokin.
Here is a quite new version by Paris Opera Ballet.
This one is much more subtle, delicate and magic <3

First performed by Tamara Karsavina and Vaslav Nijinsky.
Nijinsky made such a beautiful rose^^

I really love this story.
I read interpretations that it shows how the girl grows up.
After waking up from her dream she has already turned into a woman.
She lacks illusions and knows that this moment is gone for all life.
I prefer to look at it differently.
She fell in love with the ghost of the rose not with someone from the ball.
(She saw the ghost in her dream not a ball itself)
She refuses to enter an adult world.
Instead of it she chooses the world of fantasy.
The ghost reciprocates her love and he promises to appear at her bed every night.
Where is this all growing-up?

Btw this story would suit to Versailles.
Just imagine Kamijo as the ghost of the rose^^

So beautiful that he
made even emperors jealous XD

Bubble tea

I tried bubble tea today <3
It is a tea that comes from Taiwan.
The first you choose a base for it
(black tea, green tea, milk, yogurt)
then a flavor
(I chose strawberry)
and then co cold pearls.
As I read they are made from tapioca
but also have many tastes.

Different countries XD

Some pearls left after I drunk the tea.
Fun to eat them with a straw XD
