Little duck and her prince without a heart?

I planned this post ages ago...
but was too busy to write it
and now some of my thoughts are lost...
And I got involved in this anime too much
and forgot to take screenshots or wrote down quotes.
Eh... this anime is worth writing a better post...

Never mind.
Princess Tutu?
It sounds dumb, right?
Magical girls? And ballet?
You can imagine something similar to
Card Captor Sakura (or even worse)
plus ballet which will make it even dumber.
Nothing more misleading.

What you get is an absolutely beautiful fairy tale
with ballet and classical music which creates even more magical atmosphere.
Episodes are named after famous ballet stories
and this is not a coincidence, but you can find a connection within their content.
Ant this connection really makes sense. It seems natural.

Once upon a time a man died.
His work was creating stories to tell other people.

This is how the story begins.
Like typical fairy tale.
The action takes place in a city with a ballet school
where stories come true.
There is a small duck who turned into a girl,
a prince who lost his heart,
crow's daughter
and a ballet teacher who is... a cat.

It can all sounds really childish and a little silly,
but in fact every second of this anime is a food for mind and eyes.

Welcome to the stage I've been saving.
Now. tell me the best story that was ever told! Tell it to me with no regard for your lives!

I will risk and say that it is one of the best story
I have ever seen.
This is one of this anime that I truly enjoy and find deeper meaning,
but I would also love to show it to my children one day.
It is just for everyone.
And if you additionally love ballet you will be in heaven.

There is so many gorgeous AMV on the Internet...
when you start watching them.. prepare for losing at least a few hours...
I chose two of them to show^^

Kiki from the past

I feel really tense today.
Just three days until Versailles concert...
I can not concentrate on anything
so I was just looking through some old things at home
to kill time and distract myself from one thought.

When I was a child
all kids were collecting different printed papers
and then were exchanging them to have other ones.
I was really shocked when I have found this one in my collection!!!

Ghibli's anime.
At this time I had no idea about anime or Ghibli .
It is so strange.
I feel like finding a part of current me in the past^^

Dante with Gackt's voice

I planned to watch all Sket dance,
but I get bored after the 1st episode
(so schematic...)
and jumped to 15th episode
where Dante appears.
He is created
in very stereotypical way,
but I have to admit that I fell for him
from the first sight.

He is a visual kei musician
and as you know he has Gackt's voice♥
But if you want to watch it just for Gackt's voice
you will be disappointed.
Dante is a very shy type
and he speaks very rarely.
But this is exactly his appeal!
As I said the image is very stereotypical.
Dante, or rather Date...
introduces himself as

He has not only vk appearance
(black-violet spiky hair, make-up,
painted nails, jewelry etc),
but also vk behavior.
He usually expresses himself
in one strange word which
is difficult to understand.
He makes this typical vk poses
which seem so cool for us fans,
but strange and annoying for the others.

How sweet he blushes♥

On a stage he is an
absolutely different human.
Self-confident and powerful.

BTW it is really funny
that such stereotypes still exist XD
Anyway Dante is really kakkoi.
Mana's custom of not speaking,
together with Gackt's voice
and in fact he looks like Kisaki in my opinion.

Manga's author admitted
that Gackt was an inspiration for Dante^^

I want all anime
with such character!!!
Here you can listen to a song
which Dante sung
on School rock festival in anime.
In September full version
will be revealed.
Can't wait♥

Fantasy of Iblard

Iblard Jikan is a rather unknown Ghibli anime.
It does not have any special plot
and it is quite short.
It generally consists of
paintings which show
some fantastic places.

Here are my three favourite ones.
All show a girl from the back.

I want to be a jellyfish princess!

I do not remember
when I watched all anime in one day.
Kuragehime is really absorbing.
I could not stop watching it.
What makes it so special?

1. Cute characters
Here we have cute... jellyfishes.
I did not know they can be cute,
but they are!
here is Clara^^

Jellyfish dolls♥

Want!

2. Cute guy
He is definitely cute.
Thin with pale face and big eyes.

What is more?
He dresses like a women^^
Let's skip my strange fantasies
about dating a boy in a dress,
twinning in loli
or shopping together XD

He somehow made me think about
Ryohei from Megamasso^^
He would make perfect Kuronosuke.
He has cute face
and his daily clothes are quite girlish♥

3. Otaku girls
They are absolutely amazing.
I understand them perfectly well.
Maybe I like buying clothes and
wear make-up every day,
but still I am just a self-conscious otaku girl XD

4. Clothes
They play important role in all story.
I do not mean only Kuronosuke's interest in fashion,
but all story about a jellyfish dress.
When Tsukimi was a child
her mother promised to make
her beautiful wedding dress
which would look like a jellyfish.

If I got married
(of course it is not possible-
otaku girls can marry oshare men
only in anime or drama)
I would wear jellyfish dress^^
Babyssb made collaboration with Kuragehime
and this is how all collection was created.
Jellyfish dress is a part of it.
*_*

In fact this
French Lolita outfit
which Kuronosuke was wearing
is quite cute as well.

And btw Lolita Fashion was mentioned^^
They had no idea
what pannier is^^
their expression XD

*came back to reading manga*

Magic of Ghibli

I have not watched Ghibli animation for quite long.
Today I watched Arietty the Borrower
and I have felt this magic again.

Love this doll house♥

I can not really understand this phenomenon
but it is exactly how Miyazaki said.
After watching it I felt happy.
Just happy without any reason...

GOSICK!

I started to watch GOSICK only for pretty dresses,
(btw it seems a little strange that all characters
are wearing such victorian or edwardian outfits,
when it is already 1924 XD).
but I have found much more in it.
Beautiful urban legends, well-constructed characters
and complicated secrets.

One day a monster with its rabbit appeared.
It took a form of a beautiuful, blond-haired girl.
It was called Monstre Charmant.
They wanted to defeat the monster and use its power.
The first they killed the rabbit, which always protected the monster.
But then they realized that:
why?

This legend is really beautiful and refers perfectly to all story.

Here are Victorique and Kujo in
Monster Charmant and the rabbit's outfits
which they wore for the Christmas party.

My blog is still mostly about Lolita Fashion
so let's concentrate on this topic.
GOSICK made collaboration with Innocent World.
This collection is really beautiful, but as far as I remember
Victorique has never worn such dress...

White version would be good as a wedding dress^^
And boots are amaizng *_*

Main characters' seiyuu.
Yuuki Aoi wearing Victorica dress^_^
BTW Aoi seems really cute (and small 144cm) and
makes perfect Victorique.
What is the best?
She likes Lolita Fashion by herself.

Most of Victorique's cosplayers
seem to choose her dark outfits from first episodes.
This is the best from what I saw:

I have to admit that watching this anime made my into mood for wearing
lavenda dress.
I do not want to exactly cosplay Victorique,
but just get some inspiration.
Very frilly lavenda dress^^

For example this one
by Classical puppets would be perfect.

Or at least quite simply
Baby Dessert OP
I want lavenda dress for my happines XD
And to it Victorique's inspired
long wig with hime cut ♥_♥

What else?
Volks made dollfie inspired
by Victorique and Kujo!
♥_♥

For the end my fav screenshots.

Endings by Lisa Komine are just stunning.
Here is the second one♥
