Festival of Street Theatres

The International Festival of Street Theater

is over.

I thought that I will participate in more events,

but well... still I had a chance to see some performances.

Before I post some pics

I need to pride myself on my new geo circle contact lenses

(bough in lensvillage).

In the beginning everything seemed pretty and cute,

but then... wait! Something is wrong.

They are in two different colours!

I am cool like David Bowie or Vincent Nightray now xD

Before the 1st of performances- cafe as always.

This one was owl-themed as the bird is in the founder's surname.

Owls everywhere look really classy :3

I can't even describe how much I love this pic :3

If you wonder why I look so dark...

well the first reason.. it was the day of Kamijo's new single preview release...

so I was really in a dark mood.

But not depression- dark, but rather the beauty of darkness- dark type xD

The second reason was that the spectacle was based on Nosferatu story.

It was performed by street theater group from Germany.

It had this atmosphere...

The atmosphere of times now gone. 

Yeah, I felt like being taken to XIX century at least

when people were really able to enjoy such street entertainments.

Nowadays we are looking for more sophisticated ones

and lost the ability of a simply joy. 

Good occasion to a new daydreaming time. 

The other day...

we also bought tickets for Emilie Autumn's gig. Yay!

My outfit. 

The performance this day was called Takarazuka camp

and was inspired by Takarazuka theater and this is why

I was interested in it.

Anyway... we left before the end.

Seems like I am not able to find any fondness for modern art.

And today's performance 

was the mix of circus, ballet and parachuting- Voala.

Simply beautiful and sparkly without any unnecessary burden.

Old Cracow custom Rękawka

Old Cracow custom 

called Rękawka

is celebrated every year on Tuesday after Easter.

It is the way of welcoming spring

and also has the function of Spring Dziady

(a feast to commemorate the dead).

This pagan ceremony

was usually followed by a fair and folk plays.

Nowadays its goal is to see the reconstruction of

some Slavic ceremonies, people dressed as middle ages warriors

and generally to enjoy 3rd day of Easter :)

It always takes place next to Krakus Mound

where according to the legend Krakus,

founder of Cracow, was buried.

The conference about toys

Today I took part in the conference about toys^^

It was organised by the studies I have already graduated from.

Visiting this place made me...

Hipster Princess anti-Halloween

Started my day with reading 

Queen of the Damned (again... ...th time?).

As you probably remember in the beginning 

Lestat mentions his concert

which took place on Halloween:

Happy Halloween, vampire boys and girls.

We shall see you at the concert.

We shall see that the Vampire Lestat never leaves it.

Lestat's concert?

Dream that will never be accomplished?

Perfect Halloween is beyond my reach.

Well... but Luna eclipsed ep has

Then: watching Nightmare before Christmas.

Love this movie :3

In fact I love Halloween.

I have always something like

Tim Burton's movies on my mind.

The defense of my master thesis and Kilar's music concert

So today I defended my master thesis

(with distinction)

and I have to admit that 

of course I feel very satisfied,

but also a little old..

I already miss my old studies >.<

To show that nothing has really changed

and that I am not going to stop 

being puella aeterna

Changing topic...

Lately together with my friends I started let's call it a cultural club. 

The aim is to attend different cultural events together^^ 

If you are interested and live in Cracow you are open to join^^

The club is called Lilies&Roses.

It comes from The Picture of Dorian Gray

Time is jealous of you, and wars against your lilies and your roses.

Culture is a way to make this war less painful.

To find lilies and roses which are impossible

to defeat.

First event was the concert of Kilar music.

So amazing Saturday!

Let's start with my eyelashes I wore

for the fist time^^

I combined them 

with and old-fashioned hairstyle.

We had a small Lolita meet-up

and went to drink bubble tea :3

Then we wanted to go to kpop party,

but there was not any place there

so we found another one^^

Better one...with a swing!

Generally this place looks like a mystery garden^^

And then back to kpop party.

With my no-lolita friends :3

So many people there...

Somehow my friends made me dance....

But just once and to Vanilla...

(don't ask me why there was Vanilla on kpop party XD

Vanilla just has to be everywhere)
